ART THAT IMAGINES A BETTER FUTURE FOR US ALL

CALL FOR MODELS OF COLOR

I’m Denise Dambrackas, a Denver artist and activist. I believe that at this powerful, challenging and pivotal moment in our history, it’s crucial that I, especially as a white person, call out and speak up against the racism that’s so deeply embedded within our society.

Images play a huge role in creating our future. As a realist painter, I have the power to create those images. I’m planning an expansion of my current series of paintings, “Future Feminine” that advances the current movement to erase racism and unite all people, regardless of the color of our skin.

I’m seeking models that are mid-aged girls (6-10), Black, Asian or Latinx and bold in front of a camera.

Parents and guardians of interested little girls may apply by emailing at least 3 current images to
dD@rainbowaroundthesun.com — Questions are welcome.
